About This Site
| Thehistorykids.net is a site dedicated to the many exciting events and people in American history. The content of the site is made completely by fourth grade gifted and talented students in Mr. Nussbaum's social studies classes. The goal of the site is to build a student-made resource that can be used by students throughout the nation. Another goal of the site is for students to become proficient at conducting internet research and to learn in-depth knowedge of specific people and events in American history. Because all of the entries are made by students, descriptions of important events and people may be more clear to young children conducting research. By the end of the 2007 school year, there should well over 1,000 total entries in thehistorykids.net. |
